Common questions
- What is the best build in Deadlock?
- There is no single best build — it depends on the hero. This page lists the highest-winning build for each of the 38 playable heroes, measured over ranked matches rather than chosen by opinion.
- How are these Deadlock builds ranked?
- By the lower bound of a 95% confidence interval on win rate, so a build with a handful of lucky games cannot outrank one proven over thousands. Every build shows the number of matches behind it.
- How often do Deadlock builds change?
- Valve re-tunes heroes and items most weeks, and a build that was strong before a patch may not be after it. These rankings refresh daily from current match data.
